For a mobile, the Phone Guardian app works quietly in the background and screened calls ring like any other call. We walk you through the right setup when you sign up. The dashboards and alerts are for Family Guardians only.
Will their phone number change?
No. Their existing number stays exactly as it is — incoming calls are simply handed to Phone Guardian first. It takes effect in minutes with their current provider, and it can be switched off just as quickly. Nothing about dialing or answering changes.
Does it listen to the calls my parent makes?
No. Phone Guardian screens incoming calls — that’s where the scams are. Calls your parent places, including 911, go out on their own line exactly as they do today and never pass through our system.
What happens when a scam call comes in?
